Spring 2016 Activities at St. Bartholomew’s School

We are gearing up for our Spring 2016 Session which is right around the corner, beginning the week of April 4. We would like for registrations and payments to be received by Friday, March 25, to receive the early registration rate.

Below are the class descriptions, dates, details, and registration information for classes at St. Bartholomew’s School. Please review the registration instructions and program information for your child’s school in order to register your athlete.

Important Notes about Classes:
What your child should bring to class each week…
-water bottle
-snack to eat before class
-change of clothes (if necessary based on activity or weather). There is no specific required clothing. This is up to your discretion.


Early registrations AND payments must be received by March 25 for the early registration rate to apply. Due to limited roster space and the need to schedule the proper number of instructors, you are financially obligated once your registration has been sent, including any late fees that apply.

If you have more than one child participating in the same activity, you can save time when registering by typing your children’s first names in the “First Name” template of the registration form. This way, only one form will need to be filled out per activity. Likewise, if you have a child who would like to participate in more than one activity, you can type the various activities in the “Activity” template.

Baseball Skills

Wiffle balls, tennis balls and dense yarn balls will be used for throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, etc., depending on the activity. Our goal is to improve hand-eye coordination, base running, as well as teach proper fundamentals such as using two hands when catching and fielding the ball.  We will also introduce and reinforce baseball rules to the kids.

Boys and Girls Grades PK-K and 1-3
Equipment: Students have the option of bringing gloves.
Dates and Location: 8 Classes, Mondays 3:15pm-4:15pm in the Gym/Lower Field.
April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23
Cost: $170 for registrations and payments received by March 25, $190 if registrations and payments received after March 25


Our athletes will review the techniques of the game through drills and scrimmages.

Boys and Girls Grades PK-K and 1-3
All equipment for this class is provided.
Dates and Location: 9 Classes, Thursdays 3:15pm-4:15pm, in the Gym/Lower Field
April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2
Cost: $190 for registrations and payments received by March 25, $210 if registrations and payments are received after March 25

Dance Fitness

Dance Fitness is a mixture of hip hop dance, Zumba, fitness and games,  taught by Dana Margulis.  Dana brings great energy and gets the most out of the kids she works with.

Boys and Girls Grades PK-2
Equipment will be provided
Dates and Location: 8 Classes, Fridays 3:15pm-4:15pm, in the Gym
April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 3
Cost: $170 for registrations and payments received by March 25, $190 after March 25
